MOFCOM Issues Anti-dumping Investigations Against Imports of N-propanol Originating in the United States

　　商务部对原产于美国的进口正丙醇发起反倾销立案调查

　　On July 23, the Ministry of Commerce issued Announcement No. 32 of 2019 and decided to conduct an anti-dumping investigation against the imports of N-propanol originating in the United States from now on. The English name of the product is n-Propanol, n-Propylalcohol, 1-Propanol, 1-Propyl alcohol, Propan-1-ol, Ethylcarbinol or 1-Hydroxypropane, referred to as NPA. It is under item 29051210 in Customs Import and Export Tariff of the People’s Republic of China. If going smoothly, the investigation should end before July 23, 2020, but may be postponed to January 23, 2021, in special cases.

　　7月23日，商务部发布2019年第32号公告，决定即日起对原产于美国的进口正丙醇进行反倾销立案调查。该产品英文名称：n-Propanol、n-Propylalcohol、1-Propanol、1-Propyl alcohol、Propan-1-ol、Ethylcarbinol 或1-Hydroxypropane，简称NPA，归在《中华人民共和国进出口税则》：29051210项下。本次调查通常应在2020年7月23日前结束，特殊情况下可延长至2021年1月23日。

　　什么是反倾销调查？

　　反倾销调查（Anti-dumping investigation）是指进口国依法对造成进口国产业损害的倾销行为采取征收反倾销税等的调查，是以反倾销法为依据、立足于进口国产业及其生产者的利益，维护正常国际贸易秩序和国内市场公平。
