Chinese and Mongolian Governments Signed an Agreement on the Construction of the Erenhot-Zamin Uud Economic Cooperation Zone

　　中蒙两国政府签署关于建设中蒙二连浩特—扎门乌德经济合作区的协议

　　On June 4 2019, Chinese Minister of Commerce Zhong Shan and Mongolian government authorized representative, Mongolian Minister of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry Улаан signed the Agreement on the Construction of Erenhot-Zamin Uud Economic Cooperation Zone Between the People’s Republic of China and Mongolia. (hereinafter referred to as the Agreement).

　　2019年6月4日，中国商务部部长钟山与蒙古国政府授权代表蒙古国食品农牧业与轻工业部长乌兰在京正式签署《中华人民共和国政府和蒙古国政府关于建设中国蒙古二连浩特—扎门乌德经济合作区的协议》（以下简称《协议》）。

　　The joint establishment of the Erenhot-Zamin Uud Economic Cooperation Zone between China and Mongolia is an important measure to implement the consensus of the leaders of the two countries and strengthen the synergy of China's Belt and Road Initiative and the Mongolia’s “Development Road Strategy”. It will further promote the mutual supplement between China and Mongolia in economic advantages, facilitate trade and investment and personnel exchanges, push ahead industrial cooperation between the two countries, accelerate the regional development of the border areas of the two countries, and benefit the border areas and the people of the two countries.

　　中蒙共建二连浩特—扎门乌德经济合作区，是落实两国领导人共识、加强中国“一带一路”倡议与蒙古国“发展之路”战略对接的重要举措，将进一步促进中蒙两国经济优势互补，便利贸易投资和人员往来，推动两国产业合作，加快两国边境地区发展，造福两国边境地区和人民。

　　The signing of the Agreement is an important milestone in the construction of the Erenhot-Zamin Uud Economic Cooperation Zone between China and Mongolia. The two sides will actively advance the follow-up work in accordance with the requirements of the Agreement.

　　《协议》的签署是中蒙二连浩特—扎门乌德经济合作区建设的重要里程碑。双方将按照《协议》要求，积极推动后续各项工作。
